Structure-Aware Compilation for Scalable Neutral-Atom Quantum Computing

Published in arXiv preprint arXiv:2607.01787, 2026

We study the compilation of structured quantum gate families on two-dimensional neutral-atom arrays under realistic addressing and transport constraints. The framework exploits algebraic structure for efficient single-qubit gate decompositions and graph-theoretic models for controlled-Z transport scheduling. The resulting methods reduce addressing layers and atom transport operations, with further validation on QAOA circuits for MaxCut.
